Water Break - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

It's June 5th, twenty twenty two.
Run for the Zoo is going on
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
A thirst causing phenomenon.
This camel is not in the race,
But watching the runners run by
At a good quick clip human pace.
'Course I could run faster if I
Had chosen to go in the run.
Hope lots of water there, I think
Dehydration is sure no fun.
Runners need to be sure to drink.

If running the race I did be,
Thirty gallons needed for me.
