Think Very Carefully Before Speaking
-- Chinese Poem by 波浪男兒 Wave-Chasing Guy
-- Translated by Frank C Yue
Right and wrong mostly come from open flood-gate lips, too often;
Quite naturally, from dirty or foul language comes misfortune.
In the end, collecting virtues and peace is the guiding light;
Inviting quarrels, our mouth and tongue bring disaster and strife!
《慎言》 波浪男兒 原創
是非皆係嘴多開,
穢語粗言禍自來;
積德求祥終是福,
招尤口舌惹兇災。
