SLOGAN & THEME: 'Breastfeeding and Work: Let’s Make It Work! '
When women work supporting families,
And precious children delivered need care,
The health of both can optimally cease;
Society must improve women’s welfare!
If not for women, offspring cannot come;
The nursing/ rearing sacrifice is great;
The better half, many a time turns dumb;
The working women’s problems don’t abate.
The new-born/infant needs breast-milk by right;
To breast-feed is the women’s right indeed;
The smaller family norm has made things tight;
Both parents work, neglecting children’s feed.
The working woman cannot freely nurse;
But breast-milk’s best for babies without doubt;
The formula milks are modern global curse;
The working parents are found always out.
Breast-feeding practice needs both mind and time;
Breast-milk alone can make progeny strong;
Breast-feeding is a good mother’s role prime;
Just formula milk is a practice wrong.
No substitute for breast-milk is known still;
The love and warmth of mothers has gone dear;
The formula feeds give rise to hefty bill;
Women are not reproductive plants mere.
We ought to solve the problems of workplace
For women to foster the human race.
