We Are Born In India Especially The Hottest Towns! Poem by Dr.V.K. Kanniappan

It is true that everyday in September is hotter
like summer month of April, May and June for ever;

While I was driving the car from Chennai to Madurai
on the day of twenty ninth of August 2016, it was so dry;

In spite of the air-conditioning in the car i 10,
it was feeling hot and sweating up to my downtown!

Since we are born in India especially the hottest towns
Madurai, Trichy, Vellore and Palayamkottai, we bear with it.
