Are not we?
We are perpetrating cruelty
In the name of ideology
And push them from their homes to become refugees

How many innocent people have lost their precious lives?
Still, we believe
And propagate about their plight
But do nothing to set right

Even if are remain sympathetic
What is the basic difference?
They are accommodated despite the financial constraints
And tried to maintain their honourable status

Some people are violating guest status
And thereby losing migratory trust
They not only involve in anti-state activities
But causing alarm and anxieties

Some states push their individuals deliberately with ulterior intention
And try to spoil an international relation
The states are forced to resort to harsh action
As innocent population suffer due to their induction much to discomfort

Season's Greetings, Hasmukh A. Mehta. Thanks for your comment. We become culprits when we ignore the circumstances of refugees in their plight for survival. We must try to be our brother's keeper, because we never know when we have to cross the bridge over troubled waters. Leonard Dabydeen, Dec 23,2017
