We Are Old School Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

We Are Old School

Often times, I think we are already old school
Very long time ago, we went to school
New kids now on the stool
They, obviously, run the rule

Are they taking us for fool?
Thinking we had enough and already full
Even intending to turn us to just a tool
At the sight of their cash, we can never drool

These days, events happen at the speed of light
We just look on; putting up no fight
Competitions were never this tight
We all had enough bite!

Oh! very nicely envisioned and aptly presented A clear picture has given. The lines I like most are...Are they taking us for fool? Thinking we had enough and already full Even intending to turn us to just a tool At the sight of their cash, we can never drool. Many thanks for posting. ......10
