We Have An Exception

We have an Exception Hallelujah
There is a Conqueror over the grave
One who rose again in Godly fashion
Who still has the power to save
And in His Word is found written
The protocol for the Salvation of men
Repent of your sin...ask the Lord in
And ye shall be born again

The simplicity of a small child
Who believes whatever it's told
Is the starting point of faith
That statement has never grown old
Leave off of your pride and its coverings
Humble yourself as a child
Come you by faith to the foot of the Cross
And to your God be reconciled

Faith in Christ is the triumph
He lives and we shall live too
This shell of flesh has deterioration
But one day will be made brand new
Glorified and in the presence of Jesus
Our faith's foundation secure
So thankful that I believed on His name
The result? ...my transportation there! ! !

Hallelujah for that Saviour
Who has made a way for our rest
Who became our Sacrifice for sin
God surely gave us of His best
My faith's transaction has Sealed it
The Holy Spirit now living in me
The Same one who raised Christ from the dead
Will one day surely raise me!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
