We Need No Criminals Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

We Need No Criminals

Rating: 5.0

Our head downs with shame
How can civilized people claim?
That their children are well behaved
Not only at home but in schools too as believed

I read recent reports
Two senior medical students were suspended to support
The ragging system and harassing juniors
They were supposed to be their guide and real mentors

Some are made to drink urine
They are made to undress for seniors to feel fine
Some of the fun is alright for amusement
But this is real matter that needs full comment

Many poor people make entry in prestigious institutions
They face worst scenario with strained relations
Seniors make them to undergo mental harassment
Many are forced to hang due to such ragging movement

Poor parent may never know
Where their child is likely to go?
To fair in study or succumb to the pressure
They are always afraid of their future

Some of tough rules are made
Yet it goes on and never bade
There is tendency to establish supremacy in campus
There is rivalry and total lack of trust

The public should demand justice
As student is our promise
Country looks toward for sincere citizens
We need no criminals to role out often
