We Never Say Goodbye Poem by Hebert Logerie

We Never Say Goodbye

We never say goodbye
We never depart
We remain in the heart
Of the folks, and the brothers and sisters
In the soul of the friends and the lovers
And in the spirit of the parents and the elders
We become birds or flowers
We never say goodbye
We never part ways
We are the sunrays
Which purify the air, the seas, the rivers
The mountains, the meadows and the alleys
We never say goodbye
We live in the history
We lodge in the memory
We remain in the saliva
Of the friends and the enemies
We become an aura
In the life of countless stories
We are there and we're not there
We challenge and we dare
The imagination and arouse the emotions
We never depart
We live in the heart
Of the stars and the constellations.
