We Pay But Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

We Pay But

We pay but

Whenever am gone, dead,
Police raids my place,
They gather my papers,
For finding cause, reason!

Did he die, was murdered?

Crazies are police,
Still are, as have been,
Look at their history!

Have known them directly,
And, also, books, reading!

Timewasters are useless,
Servants are to power,
Criminals' partners,
Have good life with bribe,
Whenever time allows!

Hardly know of conscious,
Thanks to guns and badges,
Advantage corrupts them!

Arguedas, for me was
Greatest example…

Minister who saved Che
Was turned into target,
Brushed under carpet,
By cruel CIA…

Police in the La Paz,
Had a hand in crime!

This is what police are,
Slaves and criminals!

We pay them with blood,
They bow to wolf and fox,
That impose marshal laws!
