We Must Talk Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

We Must Talk

We must talk

You and I; you and I
We must talk, yes we must

Tell me why you exist
If you do
Tell me why you gave eye
If you did
Tell me why taste of love
If you poured
Tell me why aesthetic to admire
If you taught

Tell me God
Tell me God
Why should I
Live without?
Tell me what
Answer all
If you read

Red cloth
White skin
Wet forehead
Wild her hair
Green eyes
And her lips
And the chin
Painted cheeks
Why should I?
Tell me God.

Either take what you gave
Or give rest with my taste.
