We pay a visit
To pray and not to greet
With our need to be considered as fit
Silently look at and offer candle to lit
There is Holy Spirit in mind
To shower mercy and be kind
You are praying with sincere attitude
Eyes are closed and in sheer gratitude
You want some of the dreams to come true
Asking for help to pass smoothly thorough
It is your wish and desire that prayers be met
You want supreme power to undo the fate
You very well know that you are powerless
There has to be some sincere feelings on face
To come back again after fulfillment of dream
To pay a courtesy call of gratitude to him
Heart is filled with love and grief
You stay there for very brief
You know that it is conveyed fully
You are now assured that rest of the time may be spent peacefully
This is belief
That provides relief
To a troubled soul
When he smells foul
Cristina Plimpton2 minutes ago I think you are reflecting two entirely differing sets of thought here...and outside of the last sentence I really liked it. What did you infer when you said when he smells foul? Are you saying he smells nasty or he actually smells something bad in the air?
