We Shall Be Crushed Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

We Shall Be Crushed

We shall be crushed

We shall be crushed
Under own weight and perished
There will be no more inhabited land
The world shall be barren and cold

More of blood shed
And counting of dead
We must read openly
All acts of human beings are considered unnaturally

God was this before
And shall remain so here after
Why tell people to offer?
And follow suit with prayers as they desire

How come the entire universe may come under one shield?
How come the people shall be compulsorily held?
No one could do it in past
Even mighty kings failed lastly

Since centuries
We have brought countries
Under their belief and faith
It shall remain so till their deaths

Nature is not with us
The recent natural wrath shows
The system is bringing gloom
We shall have no place or room
