We Shall Win All Battles As We Rise Poem by Hebert Logerie

We Shall Win All Battles As We Rise

Rating: 5.0

As a people, we fall and we rise
Like the Sun, like the eagles in the sky
At this juncture, we have tired thighs
But we are still standing as we cry:

Liberty or death; Black lives matter
We will fight for things to be better
For all of our brothers and sisters
As we turn over rocks and craters

We will eventually chase away the flies
That humiliate, hurt, sting and kill our people
And defeat the goons with the peppery purple
Tongue. We will win all battles as we rise.

P.S. A tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - I have a Dream,57th. Anniversary speech.

This is very profound poem. Inspiring and igniting fire to get up and fight the battle rather than leaving it all to the fate. Very well thought and written.100+++++
