We Too
Of the storm and tides
in the violent sea
trapped and tortured
fought for resilience.
Time's covetous eye
threatened in its way
touched us
inappropriately.
Who to blame?
If it is not WE
We toowill have scars
on our soul.
We too sure to yield
before times turmoil.
