We want a poem of Peace we cannot write
Because Reality does not let us
Because too much Hatred and Violence
Because our enemies do not let us-

We want a poem of peace
But we do not have enough power in the world
To write it-

The Reality of threats and dangers from too many enemies
And the need to fight for survival
Does notlet us-

We want a Poem of Peace
And an ordinary quiet everyday life
But there are just too many out there
Who wish to destroy us.
