We Were Born Into This House
It's a simple memory.
A subtle wind
twisting my past
into ancient closets
where pain's clothing
hangs wrinkled
but not outgrown.
We were born into this house
with the innocence of rain
we shall leave
one by one
no worse for wear.
A poignant piece of poetry, well conceived and elegantly crafted in good diction with artistic brilliance. Thanks for sharing Dan and do remain enriched.
With innocence of rain and God'; s grace we were born in this house. The memory was still in mind a sit is now. Life and death both are mystery. An Amazing sharing is done here...10
