We Will Kiss Girl Poem by Braden Patton

We Will Kiss Girl

Rating: 5.0

Its time that I remember the past,
Remember the spell you cast,
Because our love is so vast,
That It cant be swayed by the time that’s passed.

What if we were born to be?
Oh If you could only see.
If you could only see,
That you are meant for me,
If you only knew that I speak the truth
That I can change.
Only because I love you will I stay the same,
To throw myself over an open flame,
If it would help you know I’d take aim,
Steady, fire, and proclaim,
That I only have myself to blame.

In the light of the events that have occurred,
I’ve realized that I was being absurd,
I only said what I did to be of assistance,
But now I hate myself for creating this distance,
My sole existence is only relevant in this instance,
That I will put forth my apoplogy,
And only then will you see,
That maybe, baby, Im not happy,
Unless it is you I see,
Standing right before me
With a flower in your hair,
And a smile that you only wear
When I am in sight.
Tonight we will kiss, girl,
until everything is alright.
