Tormenting is the distance
we live so far away
but the time when we will meet
I can not wait for that day

My love for you is true and pure
and ever oh so strong
for that time when we will meet
will be ever oh so long

At times I will close my eyes and count to three
and open them again with a hope that you are next to me
for that time when we will meet
is all I hope for and all that I can see

Sometimes I think of walking that long distance
which would require all my might
but to see a smile on your face
to me it is a light

This is what I think about every single day
but the time when we will meet
and travel that distance so far away
I will see the smile on your face
then with a soft? I love you?
we will finally embrace.
