We Will Pass This Test..

Rating: 5.0

Fireflies flutter out when ironmonger beat golden red hot iron,
Red Ferrari in hard chest cushioned with two pillows beat fast,
Designer microbes with freshly made tiara glitter with vengeance,
Wandering around the floating ball; slanted, torn and lockdown

Men will not change, still holding the device to rub with fingers,
What a world emerge with body bags of all sizes and barren,
Nightingales are around to press the knob to release the hook,
There go the souls, leaving behind all desires in weeks.

Men in all colours never said good bye; disappeared in mass graves,
Women of all sizes with gorgeous faces collapse as heavy cakes,
Children of all races wilted quickly, leaving human race in worry,
Nowhere to go; not have anyone to see except the idiot box that lie.

Folded hands, welling eyes, trembling hearts stay alone in dark rooms,
Depleting food and rations compete with books of various fashions,
Cross carried caravan march fast with five times praying loud speakers
All are quiet, silenced, punished without the judgement days of novels

O Nature! in billion years of our journey on this unkempt valley,
We drowned in flood and scorched in desert sun and fleshy fun,
We have built our own empire and decide our own future,
The test you posted in the modern internet, we will not fail, but win.

You have nicely summed up the journey of man on this planet and the turmoil that we have invited for ourselves reflecting our excesses in the name of development. Thanks dear poet.
