Web Weaver Poem by Brendon Olsen

Web Weaver

Courting conducted through ritual concert
covertly crawlin about sacred loom Fate faithfully holds humble prophets while coffins fill for haste has yet to exhume
Entrust admiration toward the amorous spider
Forthwith dissonance imminently abounds
Tearing holes in the web that reminds her
Souls disappear left bereft a sound

Adapted to be weary whilst careful to tread
About pensive translucent precarious thread
Life seeking survivors deftly wrapped Engagements of silk conceal her trap
But tonight she's a spider devouring every impetuous admirer
Absent hesitation
no patience
provided

Coquettish arachnids will swiftly plunder
Tearing negligent suitors deftly asunder
Weaving fear deep in the hearts of they Who gather courage to bravely obey

No assurance, no guidance, no saviour

She brings darkness to all who impose Musing calls of treacherous sanctuary All he ever wanted, and surely
All that ever was known
