Webs Of Illusions Poem by Neha Kaushik

Webs Of Illusions

A mystical night contriving the threads of destinies
as the secluded alabaster castle scintillates alienation of her soul
palisade of glaciating waterfalls skirting its impenetrable bounds
moonlight-shimmers creating a chimerical canvas occulting the cynicism
hushed winds whispering an end to her poignant despondence
as the flying dragon relays the cryptic message of her betrothed
levitating her excruciating spirit, an outburst of blithe emotions
talismanic angels protecting and guiding him in reconnoitering her
an enduring expedition ending at the doorway of his fate
marking an escapade of her soul from the atrium of death

But shivery winds ended her surreal dream transfusing reality
chassis turned stone-cold inside the insulated marbled sepulcher
though unconscious again, her mind continued to weave the webs of illusions.
