Weep For Grief Poem by Baden Ronie

Weep For Grief

The tears come unbidden,
at a single thought,
that it can never be.

That I can never hold you,
and never kiss you,
so i weep,
because of you.

A hole in my heart,
an unffilable void,
black as night.

How i wish,
that things did differ,
how i wish,
that my heart could be yours.

And so night comes,
and the tears flow,
and grief shows.

Although it shreds my soul,
il never let go,
although you may not care,
my heart is laid bare.

And so i weep,
for all that can't be,
so now i grieve,
for you

A valiant effort at putting into words the indecribable feel of unrequited love
