Rating: 5.0

Everyone has to contemplate
His eternal grave
In order to ensure
His life has been worthy.

Flowers should weep over the death of a poet. Spare, elegant lines very much in tune with some Chinese poets I have read. Very lovely, Uriah. Always your friend, Sandra

Wow Uriah, this is very deep. Yes, we must all contemplate our own grave, so that we can pass on knowing our lives were worth something. When we are remembered by our friends, family, and co-workers, then we are eternal, as is my Aunt Hazel, my mother, my natural grandmother, my uncles, my cousins who have passed away, my Grandma Dolly, Grandpa Jack, Auntie Caroline, and Uncle Johnny. These are the ones who passed away that have special places in my heart and soul, and for me will always be eternal and I know that their lives have been worth a lot, especially to me. Thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, Barbara

A profound thought Uriah. Part of the worthiness is to find joy though, something to gladden our sleeping hearts. Thanks for the thought. Shaun.
