Welcome To My World Poem by K J

Here is my world, won't you please just step inside
Enjoy a thousand sorrows and million years of pain
Marvel at the secrets I have tried so hard to hide
And shake your head in wonder at how I am still sane

So many tears have fallen from me
So many lips of love I thought I kissed
'thank you Vampyre for loving me'
'but now you are dismissed'

Why is love so diluted now that to fall out is common place
What happened to life that emotion became the enemy
Tell me what do I use now that can ever fill this space
Tell me how do I ever find anyone else or anything to complete me

I've been a puzzle for so long that I am an ancient mystery
Forgotten, perhaps to never be heard from again
I will become the legend in which noone really can believe
And wither into the another tragic and morbid end

But as my heart falls victim to time once again
As my faith forgets me and leaves me here alone
At least I know you were real if only for a moment and I can pretend
That everything we had was real and smile at the hope I was shown.

Smile for the tragic fool as I smile for my pain
Sadness, and self loathing will consume this fantasy land I create
Remember its not how you play but that you dont go insane
But as for me....I fear that now it is too late.
