Welcoming Spring Poem by Walterrean Salley

Welcoming Spring

Rating: 5.0

Spring speaks of new life and hope
As earth casts her slumber and sloth,
When old man Winter ends his trip—
Thus releasing his chilly grip.
All the earth welcomes spring:
The grass sprouts as colors shout.
And trees grow their new halo.

Nature exhibits an awesome show:
Flowers bloom, and birds sing.
Oops! There goes the creeping things.
One almost hears the bells ring
When mother Nature welcomes spring.
