Wet-Yep. (Flooding Monsoon) Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

Wet-Yep. (Flooding Monsoon)

Wet enough indeed
Frogs are drowning
Birds don't chirp
My A/C spits water
In my smilingly
Pained yet tired face
200mm last night
150 the night before
A metre the week before
Ad nauseam lluvia pesada
Fish use my rear fence
As a bar
Don't catch em anymore
Just chat to them
Tropics— wet season
Don't you just luv it
Meesta ya wanna turtle sandwich?
Going cheep as….! ! ! !
Just wait here
Dont slip..!
