We-The poets
Saturday,17th July 2021

We are not only hypocrites
but liar poets
who not only remain quiet
but let humanity die with shame!

it is not our intention
but fail to make mention
with the fear that we shall be labelled
and called negative people

it is exactly the opposite
we don't ignite
the public sentiments
to rise above and present the reality

I have seen the poets and their poetry
where they themselves suffer the pity and misery
they not only harp on the subjects
that can't bring into an act the reality

you show oratory skill
use hard words with metaphors, still
it finds no favour and is read by an elite
who have nothing more to delight

why can't we flow with their sentiments?
and present true sufferings
with their words and share the concern
this shall turn the entire scene

manoeuvring the words in a unique style
hard words to be searched in files of dictionary
it becomes futile and unnecessary
for all of us to comment on the poetry
