What Can They Do? Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

What the police can do
if minors and those under fifteen
who are yet to get
the driving license
unleash a passion
for stealing bikes?

What the people can do
but to sign the insurance policies
if the agent advisers unleash
an emotional attack
by quoting the uncertain, sudden
oncoming fatal accidents?
when we race by bike or car
the agents words burst in mind
and we see danger waving its hands
lying in wait in the middle of the road.
