What Do Women Want? Poem by Frank Adie

What Do Women Want?

Women are the oldest riddle
And what they want have been a puzzle
They whine and whinge all-season
Seldom without any concrete reason.

They all prefer tall and handsome men
As if short men are bad omen
But everyday short men are getting married
What really do women want? I am worried.

Alas even to the short and petite women
Tall and handsome is a preferred specimen
They go about with their illusion of an ideal man
Sooner or later they just marry any one.

They jump into the arms of any available man
Whether tall or short is yea and amen
Women are women and would remain women
And men would forever remain their pawn.
