I am from emjondolo,
I grew up with no father,
And i would push a brick
pretending as if it's car,
Borrow other kids toys
And cry every time they for them back.
The dream i had of seeing my father
Was like seeing a snail talking,
Because i knew it was something impossible
'mother where is my father?
Is he holding a button of your emotions?
Cause every time i ask you about him
you always cry...
She responded
'i was raped and you were born,
Your father is serving life sentence at the jail '
This is a story, that nearly killed me.
The flood of tears from my eyes to my chest
Fertilizing the seed of hate
So what do you know about me?
This may come as a shock to the reader but the way it is written sends shivers. Great poem. Thanks. 'mother where is my father? ..... She responded 'i was raped and you were born, Your father is serving life sentence at the jail '
