What For Me At Christmas Poem by Rosie Bourget

What For Me At Christmas

Rating: 5.0

My little Christmas tree
It is pretty as can be
Stands brightly lit for everyone to see
With no presents underneath for me.

The very best time of the year
That brings so much cheer is here
All it brings for me is tears
It's been this way for years.

For some, Christmas is the best
Being alone and depressed
In my universe
Christmas is the saddest.

With so much anger
That pushes me in the corner
And so much to remember
I am never happy in December!

Poignant piece. You should have a reason for. Well written piece in your opted form. Nicely rhyming. Hope future Christmas may bring you joy 10+
