What Happened? Poem by Crazy Vampire

we used to be happy, content
when i told you that i loved you, it was true, it was meant
i would get butterflies everytime you would call
for you i fell hard and i am still continuing to fall

i loved everything you would do
i would burst with joy everytime you would say 'i love you'
it took awhile to realize that with you i had an obssession
you healed my broken heart, you were my medicine

but now all of that has faded away
the love you say you have for me, you no longer display
instead you treat me as if i were nothing
you have bruised me emotionally, the pain is too much, it stings

the fighter inside me is slowly giving out
it is you who i cant live without
you are the one who takes away my breath
you will be the cause of my death
