What Has Covid-19 Said

Why do you mourn you,
The body is not yours,
Never say it,
As you do not know it
What it is,
How the things,
What is it your own,
Nothing your own
As you have not come here with anything
And nothing it to go with,
Whom you feel own
Are not,
But the others your own
As times and situations make it,
Circumstances compel it,
Where the body lies it
Finish it there,
What it the use of rites and rituals,
Why to give it a grand feast,
Why to worry about ceremonious disposal,
The body of dust will return to dust
And even if during the marriage time,
Why to invite so many,
Make the gathering
To pollute the place
With left-overs and waste heaps,
Why to spend so much of money,
Why not to keep it private and personal,
What it there in social mixing
And societal dignity,
Mark it humanity dignity is above all,
If you are ill and down with
The men whom you have fed
Will they help you,
Nobody will come to,
Only your survival strategies will
Come to bail you out of crisis,
The power to struggle and resist
And fight it back?
