What Humanity Stands For Poem by Martine Kolber

What Humanity Stands For

What childish games we play
And still are so proud to say
That we are the dominating race
Did we forget we fell from grace
While some of us die alone we
Call that collateral damage but
Would we still think so if it
Was our life stolen away for
A war against illusions and fear
That caused so many innocent
Victims that none of us cries for
Did we forget through this nonsense
War what humanity stands for
