What I Do Poem by Donna McCord

What I Do

Standing on the precipice, looking for my niche
Wondering where I should go and how to do this
I was given a gift that could launch my career
Now how do I get to there from here?

It’s not that I doubt my skills and creativity
At my age I fear only time and longevity
I have great expectations, I just need a break
To prove to everyone I have what it takes

Should anyone wonder what it is that I do
Just give me a minute and I’ll explain it to you
I can write lyrics, commercials, anything that rhymes
But the unique thing is it takes me so little time

I write personalized poems to celebrate any event
Everyone tells me it was the best money they spent
I have a website with lots of backgrounds to choose from
Just go to www.poemsbyd-zyne.com
