What I'Ve Been Dying To Write Poem by Paige Allison

What I'Ve Been Dying To Write

Every word out of his mouth
Are like the beautiful thoughts
I've been dying to write.
Each smile on his face
Is hiding the pain
I wish i could take away.
Every scar that my fingers seem to find,
And my eyes notice immediately,
Wonder if there's a story or some reasoning.
Every step he takes,
Is a step away from the life he hates.
Every fall,
The recovery seems to take days.
I'd bear it all just to see him content again.
I'd bear it all just to let him know
Some things are worth believing in.

I wish he'd see
How beautiful he is.
Not just the things on the outside of his skin.
He has this inspiration radiating from his heart out.
It holds me up on the days where I seep doubt.
The words he starts to say
Always wash my insecurities away.
I wish I could comprehend these feelings,
So I could try to explain all their meanings.
But he makes me so confused,
All of my dreams,
They're finally coming true.
I wish I could say,
How much he takes my breath away,
Because every word out of his mouth
Are like the beautiful words I've been dying to write.
