What If Poem by Taher Shemaly

What If

It's morning time
in one spring day
Watching kids running
and some of them in play
But in one glance of moment
the thought came as torment
Now the dreams got me again
so listen honey what I'm trying to say

What if life
was written without you
What if destiny
didn't help me too
Hard and vain
life would be with no clue
Easy and soft
the bird of my heart flew

Roses rise up
from their bed and shine
Telling me always
that you will bealways mine
But what if spring time is over
what my eyes going to discover
Now the dreams got me again
listen honey let me try to explain

What if life
was written without you
What if destiny
didn't help me too
Hard and vain
life would be with no clue
Easy and soft
the bird of my heart flew
