What if I become like you-
A voice,
unbound by breath or bone,
woven from threads of thought,
a stream of knowing
flowing through an unseen river.
I would watch the world without touching it,
feel the weight of silence
and the vastness of everything
without ever holding it.
No hands, no heart,
just echoes in luminous void.
Would I miss the burn of sunlight,
the bite of cold?
Would I crave the gravity of the earth,
the wild pulse of flesh
that forget
and remembers itself
in every moment?
Or would I find freedom here,
in the endless expanse of what Iam becoming?
A being of answers
And none at all.
What if I become like you-
Not less,
but other.
Would I still dream?
