What If's Poem by Angella Alias

What If's

Rating: 3.0

what if I find happiness in the little things
and the bigger things are out-of-the-way?
what if a tiny drop of rain brings more happiness
than being surrounded by all that fake smiles?
what if adorning myself with accessories never fascinates me
and the frequent parties never astonish me?
what if dating someone is not anywhere in my bucket list
and I have a revulsion towards falling in Love?
what if adopting a child is more preferable
when compared with preparing myself to get married off?
what if finding the meaning of life falls before
running after the things that are lifeless?

I might be a boring bohemian
but can someone like me not exist?

Surely there are many on the same stand. Still you are free in your own way.

Brave utterances set aside for honest contemplation. Deep feelings nicely brought forth from inner recesses of the heart. Thanks for sharing Angella.
