It is commonly said that God is Love,
To Love is to honor Him, but what is Love?
To define it is to define the almighty.
Defies one true definition as does God.

Only loves captives, philosophers, writers, poets and lovers
Can describe its impact on ones being.
It elevates one to heights of joy and happiness
In the physical and emotional state.

All that brings us true joy and happiness brings us love
Activities, family, friends, hobbies and career
In all we do, all those we know, love abounds
When exemplified through marriage and family.

In modern parlance it evokes carnal intentions.
But does not attain the feelings we mention.
Love stands above all emotions when we
Are surrounded by joy and happiness
Brought about by the truest love we can experience.
