What Is She Safeguarding, Being Poem by james watkin

What Is She Safeguarding, Being

What is she safeguarding, being
Impenetrably shy?
A frangible soul, that within
Its temple do lie?

Cobwebbed over is the door
Deeper than where sits
Casual reception, to those whom
Against are placed writs

To not, with their defilement
This jewel of jewels smear.
Flirtatious one, you think her harsh?
A soul is very dear!
