What Is The Answer? Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

I am looking for a word that explains…
A thought that carries no remorse or pain

How many resounding syllables will it take?
To cure ills as it slides off the tongue
What language has the solution for our sakes?

'Understanding, ' is a word that is hopeful
With conscience and a considerate heart
Conflict might be an avoidable downfall

Could the word be 'dialogue? '
Such as in talk and listen…
It has more promise than the word 'monologue'

Now, that is a fresh and novel suggestion
It could start a process leading to peace
Perhaps, we have found the answer to the question
