What is the purpose of life, we ask,
Beneath the sky, behind each mask.
The ocean whispers, soft and deep,
A truth it cradles, waves that weep.
The tides, they rise, then fall away,
Yet always find another day.
The sea, a mirror vast and wide,
Reflects the questions we can't hide.
To learn, to grow, to seek the light,
Through tempests fierce and stars of night.
To love another, frail and small,
And hear their laughter echo all.
The purpose rests in hearts that bind,
In hands that heal, in thoughts refined.
It lies in waves, in songs they bring,
A tender, timeless offering.
In loving others, life takes flight,
A boundless sea, an endless night.
