What Is The 'Real' Intention Hidden Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

What Is The 'Real' Intention Hidden

Why is it that there are those with beliefs,
Who feel if something they do...
Another should follow their lead,
To leave perceived.

And I've always felt,
If someone does something unsolicited...
It was something 'they' chose to do.
Not demand an attention be attached to it.

If I do something from my heart,
And it is given from the start.
That's it.
An acknowledgement would be nice.
But if there isn't one to come...
I'm not going to think twice,
About what it is I've done...
if it wasn't a bona fide sacrifice.

Many get offended if their actions done,
Does not get an attention.
And their motives I question with a suspicion...
What is the 'real' intention hidden,
Left going unmentioned?

Attention shows you are listening. Fitting are you words to undeserving as you describe. If one does not ask for it does that mean that they need it not? How do we separate the quantities of the two. Dangerous is the game of who cried wolf I know I'm now I'm getting some of those looks cause of some of my poems But that was just not my intent, it just how I dealt with the emotional stagnant. They were written before the readers time. They were personal, and private. I am not either seeking or need it. Even though sometimes the conversation that come from it is just fine But back to the subject. What is revalent? And what is not? These question are for you. Great poem, as always you inspire.
