What Is The Upside From Allowing The Planet To Become Warmer Than It Should

In warming's grip, the seasons blur and blend,
Nature's balance tilts, we fail to comprehend.
Glaciers weep as oceans rise and swell,
Yet some seek solace in this warming spell.

Fields of green stretch further, crops abound,
Yet heedless of the toll, we're tightly bound.
Butterflies dance where once they scarce were seen,
Yet fleeting gains mask what the future may mean.

The upside fades, a mirage in the heat,
For in this warmth, our future is bleak.
