Love is accepting the person
for who they are,
not who you wish they were.

Love is not being selfish,
helping others
in any way you can.

Love is being close by
when the one you love
is hurting and crying
deep inside.

Love is having
no boundaries
or barriers
and without discrimination.

Love is being free
to trust,
and to respect,
the one you love.

Love is waiting
if the one you love
is not ready.

Love is the look in your eyes
when you see that special someone
in the morning, at noon or at night.

Love is pain,
brings you high
but brings you down low too.

But most of all,
love can be insanity,
it may twist you around,
and turn you upside down.
