What More Is It Should I Do? Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

What More Is It Should I Do?

Speak and then you leave.
Don't bother to let me know,
What troubles and hurts you so.
I will still be right here,
For you.

Spek and then you leave.
As if I have shown you,
Any reason to resist my willingness...
To listen.

What is it do I mean,
To you?
Haven't I been your friend?
Someone to depend on.

What is it do I mean,
To you?
If you can not trust me...
How deep are you unhappy?
And why do you cry?
Allowing me to see your tears.
What more do you wish I do,
For you...
To prove,
I care!

Speak and then you leave.
Don't bother to let me know,
What troubles and hurts you so.
I will still be right here,
For you.
What more is it should I do?
