What's Cooking Poem by Melanie Emikohe

What's Cooking

Something's cooking
at the house next door;
I see no smokes
but I smell, I'm sure of it.
Something's terribly cooking.

I never see nobody;
fences are too high
for my prying career.
They like to keep it quiet.
Too quiet.
