What Sad Fate Waits For The Child? Poem by Terence George Craddock

What Sad Fate Waits For The Child?

what sad fate waits
for the child not fed
for the child who bleed
suffered physical injuries
suffered mental injuries
caught in conflict zones
caught in schools homes
caught in shifting battles

in neighbourhood streets
where is found a safe place?
where is refuge from human race?
the UN always fails to protect
children caught in flashpoint wars
men women civilians caught in wars
